This was a solid 3.5 read for me. It was fun to be back in Hawkins and get a bit more insight into how Eleven came to be. The book was pretty fast paced and it kept me reading. I did feel like it really read as a book adapted from a tv show, which oddly enough, helped keep me hooked. It would have been a 4 star read, but there were quite a few typos/errors, it read just a bit too YA for me and I wanted a bit more wrap up as to what happened to Alice/Gloria/Ken, since they aren't ever mentioned in the show. If you're a Stranger Things fan I'd recommend this as a great filler while we await Season 3!
