Such strong reactions to this book.
Loved: descriptions of an ADHD brain, some of the concrete suggestions for management, the thesis that ADHD can be leveraged as a strength
Hated: non-nuanced stance on medication (spoilers: it's bad! Don't do it), focus on anecdotes that mostly came from the lives of incredibly privileged people, complete absence of other types of ADHD besides hyperactive type
I recommend it for empathy building if you know someone with ADHD but with a giant grain of salt.
