I found this book hard to read due to the change in style, and the fluid movement between character perspective throughout - maybe it is just a hard book to read. However, I found the La gage very poetic, the storyline fascinating, and overall a rather masterful portrayal of the interaction between hurt, traumatised and damaged people, and the impact that they can have upon one another.
