The Release by Shelbi Wescott

3.0

Spoiler You know it's bad when you don't care about a character's death and you just roll your eyes at the protagonist. To be fair, the book started promising. The three characters did well when they were alone, but the moment they were faced with danger, they somehow regressed especially Lucy. These are not young teenagers, they're 17 year olds but behaved like they were much younger. Lucy somewhow cared more about her friends than her family and would focus on being jealous rather than worry about their safety. I'm giving this a 2.5 because I still wanted to finish the book and am even considering to continue with the sequels.
