I am really sorry that this book turned out so... stupid. I am very critical when it comes to science fiction, but Brightly Burning by Alexa Donne was just really really bad.

It is honestly one of the worst futuristic worlds I have ever read. Everything was just so incredibly underdeveloped and weak. I didn't really care for any of the characters Spoilerbut no one died in this absurdly dangerous world and so it really didn't matter, which was both cliche and unbelievably unrealistic. And the romance ugh the romance was just terrible. I had no idea that so many random dudes could love this one girl. I usually don't care all that much for romance, but this one was just completely unbearable.

I wish I could say there was at least one redeemable quality to this book, but it was honestly all just plain bad. Would not recommend.
