The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
5.0
This was such a well-written book. I was blown away by the writing, the story and the aesthetic. Even if it was really heartbreaking.
Evelyn Hugo was such a really-well written character, and I loved how her character development corresponded with the story development. There was so much complexity and layers to her and I find her so wise with the years yet beautiful and defiant and strong. Evelyn as a character had so much depth, and I just love her so much.
This book reminds me a lot of The Invisible Life of Addie Larue, with a touch of the movie Citizen Kane. If you haven't read this book, you're missing out honestly.
