Did not finish book. Stopped at 80%.

I dnf‘ed after reading up to chapter 10 or so because I just couldnt handle the name-calling, slut-shaming, manhandling plus the overall actions and attitudes of both main characters anymore. I later went back end read the ending and some middle parts, just to see how reactions to certain secrets were and how it all ended. bjt still, this was BAD. i see the addicting things it does to lure readers in, but I really hope NOONE believes this to be the ideal relationship. because it’s NOT. for someone with a degree on pedagogy to have written this.. with our current perspective on things.. oh man, i don’t know. I wanted to see what all the hype was about. but this was not only a let-down. it was a complete disaster that made me question people’s standards in relationships.
