What I liked about this story:
- Good, positive rep for therapy, with visible character growth based on it.
- I loved all the little trope inversions.
- Neve is the very definition of "strong female lead".
- Audrey, despite not being a POV character, is still 3D and interesting.
But also, some stuff wasn't my jam:
- Neve is a tad cruel and petty for my tastes.
- The meta-discourse about romance took me out of the story each time.
Overall, I thought it was enjoyable and a solid deconstruction of a bunch of tropes at once.
