Enjoyed the first two books of the series. Then this third installment….The first 10% was entertaining, then it was extremely drawn out. It took util the last 15% to get good again. The jokes were extremely repetitive with juvenile, cringey dialogue. Poppy has a question, Kieran makes a comment. Cas makes a sex joke, Poppy calls him inappropriate or demented. Poppy likes cheese, someone calls someone else rude…all super repetitive.
Other reviews say this series is drawn out. There are a large number of books out and Poppy’s story is still not concluded. I want to see Cas and Poppy reunited, but I don’t know if I can handle another slow read.
