Amazed I’d not actually read the book before given how much I loved the film as a child but this just proved that the film was a wildly faithful adaptation bc I remembered and pictured every single scene. The foreword about Anna Sewell’s life was also lovely and she was a disabled baddie like me!!! Wish it had been longer though :(((
