I enjoyed this.
I liked the way it pokes fun at so many fantasy tropes, following the adventures of Halla, a 36 year old housekeeper who's most effective survival strategy is pretending to be a silly, annoying woman.
The main story idea, in which the distinctly unromantic, sensible and unhappy Halla becomes the owner of a grumpy magical sword-man is excellent and entertaining.
The obligatory "lovers break up" near the end was rather unconvincing, I didn't believe that Halla would react that way. But it was overall a good hearted, amusing, entertaining story.
