The premise of this book was really unique and not quite what was expecting. I enjoyed reading Iris’ point of view and was eager to keep reading to learn more about each sister and their fate. I was a bit disappointed that there was never an answer as to why each sister died but I guess that fits with the dark/ horror themes of the book. I really enjoyed the feminist tones of the book and discussion of the lives of women at the time and what was expected of them.
