This was an amazing fantasy read that is one of my new favorites! The Japanese-inspired world in this book was interesting and complex, and all the creatures of the world were fascinating to me. The main characters of Yumeko and Tatsumi made this book even more compelling and unlike anything I've ever read. Yumeko was a character I found very refreshing because though she may not be physically strong, she uses her tricks and cleverness to succeed. Overall, I found this book addictive to read because I wanted to see what would happen to these characters, and I cannot wait for the sequel.
