Pros: the writing
cons: the writing🙄

it was really intricately written and you could tell that the writer put a lot of energy into making her sentences sound good. but honestly it was way too langtrukken, and it somrhow felt like it was written with the purpose of just getting praise for good writing if that makes sense.

orher than that the whole story felt pointless and there were truly no noteworthy plot points, she just got sicker and more hurt and sometimes found some food to eat and poop out. But for what??? the goal of the frenchmen sidnt feel strong enough for me as a reader to truly believe in/hope for, so I didnt root for her at all.

that being said, it did make me think, and amodst all the long formulations, there were some very nice and highlightable sentences/paragraphs. It made me think, and I liked how no bs and sometimes disgusting the storytellinh was, yes she ate the bugs raw because she was starving, of course. it made me actually feel something when reading yk.

overall the writing just couldnt compensate for the not getting anywhere
not for me, but I could tell that from the start.
