Leah On The Offbeat by Becky Albertalli

2.0

This was really sweet and cute.
Also so fucking relateable?! Did Becky Albertalli secretly spy on me or something, because Leah is me. 100%.
The bisexual rep was on point too!
And Leah calling out her friend for a racist comment made me really happy - just because the person who made a questionable comment is a friend doesn't make it ok (and shouldn't be a reason for a free pass)!

There was just one moment that made me a little bit uncomfortable. Leah was kinda pushy regarding someone figuring out their sexuality? She couldn't handle it that they weren't sure about it (haven't decided on labels and stuff) and got unnecessarily angry ...

Sadly, the ending felt a little rushed and abrupt. And most of the other characters, the main friend group especially, felt pretty one-dimensional.

But overall I really enjoyed this!
