Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella
3.0

I have mixed feelings about this book. I've wanted to read it for quite a while and I was happy when I finally managed to get this book. Especially after I read some other books from Sophie Kinsella which I enjoyed a lot. However, this one didn't get me so much.
The storyline is okay and I think it's equally well written as those previous books I read, but the main character just annoyed me so much. Maybe because I'm not really able to relate (as I think I'm quite good at saving money and not buying expensive things) but every time she spent the money she didn't have on something stupid (like the cookbook when she could've got some recipes of the internet) I just felt so annoyed. I get it that there are people who have serious problems with spending their money on things they don't really need, but at least use some common sense and get things you can get for free and spend your money on something you can't get for free.
So now I'm not sure whether I wanna read the rest of the books from this series or not. Especially when there are so many other books out there that may not have a main character that annoys me.
