This book was amazing and consumed me from the very beginning!

I don’t usually gravitate towards historical fiction but this book just stood out to me and I'm so glad that I picked it up.

Learning about the Vietnam War and the men and women who served was eye opening. To see the the things that they have seen and dealt with across the sea and even coming back to the states was just unreal. The US didn't support our vets especially not the women which should have caused more outrage then it did. Really goes to show just how broken our system has always been.

I really enjoyed following Frankie through her time in Vietnam, her time coming home and the struggles she went through. From finding what she thought would be love eventually to standing on her own two feet!!

It's a wild ride and if you choose to pick this up, be prepared to only think about this book every time you put it back down!! Highly recommend!!
