The Unforgivable: If The Walls Could Talk, Would You Listen? by Crystal Thomas

emotional inspiring medium-paced

5.0

This book was intensely heavy. It was blunt and straightforward. There was no hiding and that’s what made it SO GOOD! My heart was broken due to knowing her and seeing the challenges she endured. This is a story of a STRONG woman who was beaten down consistently and still managed to thrive in the end. The evolution of her strength is inspiring. She went from growing up abused to ending the cycle for her children. From someone who has experienced parental trauma, this quote stuck with me the most.

“The one person in my life who was supposed to protect us was walking away from us and allowing this to happen.”
