Steelheart was one of the best books I've read in a while. My heart raced during the tense moments, which is definitely good. From the get-go, I knew this would be a good one. A review I read before reading stated that this book seemed to be marketed more toward guys, and I agree. There are fewer female main characters, more descriptions about the cars and guns than books marketed to women, and constantly talked about one of the female characters like any teenage boy would. Despite this, I still think it was an amazing book that had me on the edge of my seat throughout. (Though the plot twists are very predictable from the beginning.) would recommend.
