This was a pretty solid Lucky River Ranch product. There isn't a ton of drama, it's not particularly emotional but it's just a good story about 2 single parents with emotional pasts, finding each other and building a found family. You're silently cheering for them as they are genuinely good people who deserve their happy endings.

After a spate of dramatic, intense books - this was a great palate cleanser and easy read. Not to mention, the spice is hawwttt. It's a pretty strong sell for the book.

However, if you're looking for more plot and maybe a great love story - this wouldn't be it (to manage expectations). I definitely felt like there was some over celebration of the FMC's characteristics because she listened to him & asked a few questions. Made me wonder what kind of devil spawn Sawyer had dated in the past. Regardless, there was good chemistry between them and that's enough for a good story. So yes, recommend but wouldn't hype it up.
