Ok, I loved this book! It was fun, low angst, and just a solid read. I typically don’t prefer the fake marriage trope but it was done exceptionally well in the book. To me there’s nothing sexier than a golden retriever, boy obsessed Hero!

Brooks Watson has always been in love with Lottie Owen’s, except Lottie was supposed to be married to his brother, Holden — but got left at the altar, heart and pride broken.

But one drunken night in Vegas, they end up getting married! Lottie demands an annulment but Brooks said that he’ll grant her one but only if she goes on several dates with him.

Lottie ends up enjoying the dates and starts to fall for Brooks. He helps break down her walls and she feels worthy of love again. But is it enough? Can she trust him not to break her heart?

I listened to the ALC and the audio was utter perfection. Stephen Dexter and Vanessa Edwin were perfect for Brooks and Lottie! 4.5⭐️
