Goldilocks and the Three Bears by Jan Brett

3.0

Brett's illustrations, as always, are ponderously rich and allusive. It can even seem as though there isn't any real need for the reselling of the tale itself, which is, unfortunately, rather uninspired. Wouldn't it be fine to live in a handcrafted environment so saturated with care and detail as Brett's version of the three bears' home?
