I thought I was going to make it through this one! In the beginning I loved the narration and the fact that the narrator breaks the fourth wall (is that the term in books, or just in movies?) and breaks down the pages that different things happen on. It was funny, and I loved that the few times I verified those pages/events, they were accurate. So we were going at a good clip, then things just....stalled. The main character felt so whiney and uninterested in everything going around him, he was supposed to be an adult but definitely behaved more like a surely teenager. And the plot just felt like it was going nowhere. I didn't care enough about the other characters to keep them straight, so when I moved on to other books, I just don't feel like going back to this one. 🤷🏻‍♀️
