Disappointed beyond belief.

This is not what I expected from this book at all. If only she had stayed in that “nightmare”, that would have made things more interesting before she gets whipped back to her old life.

I think that would have been more thought-provoking for readers. But alright, we’re not here to judge the book that was not written.

I loved the pacing. Thank God it went by so fast because I did not think that it would get that interesting. And it didn’t. Going in first, we are going to think that this is about romance and something that would question which future do you want and with who. But as the story progressed, the focus of the story shifted to friendship.

If I had wanted to read a book about friendship, I wouldn’t have read this. Seriously. The synopsis is super misleading. This is false advertising and while that may have been forgiven by other people, I will not let it pass because I felt like I wasted my time.

I guess I’m just a little bit disappointed that we mainly got more from Bella than Dani. It was like this book revolved around her and not that “supposed” future and the mystery that was wrapped around it.

The ending was also subpar. And I hated that this was how it has to end just so she could get a happy ending. I mean, surely this could happen in real life. But that’s it? That’s really it?

I think people who likes to read books about life would enjoy this.
