Hawke's Salvation by Lori King
3.0

Hawke's Salvation is book 5 in the Crawley Creek series. Though it is not required to follow the story, I would recommend reading the others to full understand the characters.

Hawke is used to going from woman to woman because he's never found the one. He has had the hots for Dr. Hall since the moment she showed up at the ranch. He's done everything he can think of to get her in his bed.

Jeanette knows the gorgeous cowboy is looking to warm his bed. She's just not interested in a man that has her so twisted up. She doesn't want complications to her life. She's so worried about what other people think.

Eventually, the sexual tension between these two will erupt like a volcano. When that happens, all bets are off. Decisions will need to be made and they will need to decide what they really want.

Crawley Creek is a family. Everyone of the many inhabitants has a past. They are troubled, orphaned, or abused. Crawley Creek is more than a home it is a place of healing.

It is sweet story of love. Hawke and Jeanette weren't prepared but they fell hard and fast. It is fun to watch them grasp at reasons to avoid each other, but in the end love wins.
