For some reason this installment of the series just wasn't hitting like others before it did. I still had a good time and it was a quick read, but I feel like the whole macroplot with why Luciana was even at Sin du Jour to begin with is hinting at a bigger picture that I just can't see clearly. I also am not a fan of how Wallace will drop hints about certain characters (in this case, Little Dove and White Horse) at the beginning and then they're not mentioned for the rest of the book. I'm also very invested in what ends up happening with Boosha and if she comes out of her coma and if it isn't addressed in the next book I will be very upset.
