Dragon Slayers by Kristin D. Van Risseghem
4.0
I was lucky enough to receive an advance reader's copy of this book ahead of its release next week on March 28th.
This is a fun fast read that sucks you in quickly to the world that Brooklyn resides, going to school to become a Dragon Slayer in an alternative universe to New York City. As the story begins Brooklyn is about to graduate from level 1 to level 2 and discovers that one of her skills instructors is awfully interested in her, as well as his brothers...
This is complicated even by love triangles (or maybe more of a rectangle) standards but a lot of fun and nothing past PG 13 is ever described.
I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series as it was left in a cliffhanger and I want to know what happens next, now that Brooklyn understands more of the world she has gotten herself into.
