The Revolutionary: Samuel Adams by Stacy Schiff

I'm not a huge fan of history books, so this had one strike against it going in. I found the book to be utterly boring. I didn't care about Samuel Adams or any of the Revolutionary people in Boston. I found myself having to read the pages many times because I would lose track and then couldn't even remember what I read. I think that if the material was put forth in a more interesting way, I would have liked it a little more. I think that if you like history books about the founding fathers, you'd like this one. I do think that the author researched the heck out of this book and did a good job compiling the information, but it just wasn't for me. If it wasn't for a book club, I would have quit it.
I am rating it higher because I do feel like the author did a good job with the information, but it just wasn't for me.
