This is the 9th book in the Jack Reacher series; though you do not need to read them in order of publication - I certainly haven’t been

The narrator for this one is Dick Hill - who I’d say is my fave Reacher narrator. His voice for Reacher is great, as are his voices for the other characters including the females

As excepted it is a slow burn crime thriller featuring many twists and turns, with the last handful of chapters being fast paced and action packed as Reacher solves the mystery and delivers justice. He is the same badass you expect if you’ve read any of the other books. As is the featured female character(s); I love that Reacher is 6’5 and 250lbs, but that Lee Child doesn’t use his burly-ness to write meek female supporting characters

And you don’t leave a Reacher novel behind without learning a little something - like how to fool night vision/thermal imaging… at least temporarily. And how to keep your pants pressed when they’re the only ones you own lol

I recommend these books if you’re looking for a crime thriller.
