Wow. Jennette has a voice that just captivates you. Her way of storytelling makes me feel like I was in every moment with her. I'm really glad I listened to the audiobook instead of reading it because I got to hear her voices (and while she hates acting, I still think she's very talented in it) and it put me into her life that much more. I nearly cried when she had to pause her reading and take a deep breath, I've never heard that happen in any audiobook before. I hope she's doing okay now.
Graphic: Addiction, Alcoholism, Child abuse, Death, Eating disorder, Emotional abuse, Mental illness, Toxic relationship, Medical content, Grief, Medical trauma, and Death of parent
Moderate: Adult/minor relationship, Domestic abuse, and Infidelity
Minor: Homophobia
Jennette goes into a lot of detail about a lot of major traumas she experienced. Eating disorders and abusive mothers are the key focus of the book. While abusive partners and her relationship with Dan Schneider were mentioned they were only a few chapters.
