Another 2021 anticipated book that lowkey disappointed me. :(
It had such a promising and strong start, but it got muddled when the plot twists got revealed. The reasons behind the WHYs are logical and could be possible, but it just didn't do it for me.
Ironically, I liked the 2nd POV more than the 1st POV even though the plot went downhill in the second half.
The people I wanted and wished to be accountable weren't punished in the end and that fucked me up. Didn't get the payoff I wanted, but hey, we can't always get what we want, right?
