I’ll keep this short. It was a classic YA. And if I was a teen I would have given it a 3 probably. Like. It was fine. I have just read better witchy books. And this one wasn’t it for me. I was bored, wanted more descriptions and less dialogue, and more vivid characters.

I did like the strong diversity rep in this book and the Ireland setting was super unique. The story was strong and witchy. I think this book is great for teens that want a fun witch novel. I don’t think it’s for adults who want a witchy novel. At the end of that day, this book is okay in general. At the end of the day, I personally didn’t enjoy it.
