Do I actually hate it? I can’t tell. I hate when instead of showing us co-parenting, they

kill off the other parent! So freaking dumb

. And also, her dad does have a right to be mad they eloped. All he knew was that they stopped being friends and now they’re married without a prenup despite having large inheritances and successful family businesses. Yea they were dumb and should be yelled at for that. Idk, just seemed like the author was trying to do too much and yet not enough. She has issues in her life revolving around her weight, never resolved. He feels as if his friends abandoned him during his personal crisis, didn’t tell them anything about it or tried to reach out for support. 
He’s in a custody battle, well now he gets the kid and his wife gets called mama. The kid

lost his only parents he knew and stuck with random people he’d met once

, no emotional trauma and easy transition. The two college kids never having even baby sat before, no parenting issues whatsoever. 
And the author is setting up for a seventh book in this series, I promise you no one asked for it. And we did not need past characters popping up for a fun cameo, if they’re not relevant to the story we don’t need them!
