The Undocumented Americans by Karla Cornejo Villavicencio

Using this for my book club and I look forward to the potential discussions. The publisher describes this book as weaving "memoir with reportage, ceative ethnography, and elements of fiction such as magical realism." I couldn't describe the genre(s) any better. I loved the author's voice. I learned a lot and I think she achieved her goal of writing about undocumented immigrants in a way never done before.
