At the Mountains of Madness by H.P. Lovecraft
3.0
Upon picking up this book I was vaguely aware of HP Lovecraft and his work but soon realized how much of his imagination has seeped into our pop culture! Things I didn't even know came from him, like cthulhu! He creates these entire "mythos" that guide his stories. He's a great writer and this tale was sufficiently and satisfyingly creepy. I couldn't entirely get wrapped up into his world of ancient aliens but worth the quick read for any interested in something very unique and creepy!
