It's OK That You're Not OK: Meeting Grief and Loss in a Culture That Doesn't Understand by Megan Devine

5.0

Megan Devine took an approach to grief that I found myself agreeing with throughout the entire book. The way she describes the feelings, reactions, and expectations were spot on. She helps readers recognize that their feelings are normal, and okay, as well as guiding them through interacting with others when grief is a factor. I borrowed this book from the library, and plan to purchase it for my personal collection. Reading it felt like a weight was lifted from my shoulders, because somebody finally understands.
