The 99% Invisible City: A Field Guide to the Hidden World of Everyday Design by Roman Mars, Kurt Kohlstedt

3.0

I learned about this book on a Wired list of books to pick up. Pretty interesting book with some interesting backgrounds of things we see on the streets we use every day. It has the potential to open your eyes to things you might not have noticed when out and about. It "read" like a podcast (which makes sense, as it is based on a podcast). I listened to it on audio for this reason and I do think this would be an interesting book in print too, maybe one to put down and come back to here and there. If there are pictures/photos in the book that would be nice (I'm not sure if there are or not or how detailed they are). I am a learn-by-example kind of person though.

three keywords/ phrases- a little nerdy, some fun facts to share (and annoy?) with family and friends, tidbits and trivia
