More Than a Woman by Caitlin Moran

funny informative inspiring reflective medium-paced

3.5

Parts of this book had me yelling "YES! THIS!" from the rooftops, other parts made me cringe a little bit. I would say that having loved HOW TO BE A WOMAN when I was a teen, and how much it informed me about feminism, I definitely appreciated MTAW for what it is in terms of voicing a particular woman's feminism, but I do feel Moran's voice is one voice that tries to speak for many and sometimes doesn't allow for intersectional feminism. However, the chapters on her daughter and the chapter on men really resonated with me, and overall it was an interesting and enjoyable read.
