This trilogy completely destroyed me from start to finish. If my heart wasn’t getting ripped out by the death of a beloved character, I was crying/ screaming/ throwing up over the brutality of the war(s).
Forever Obsessed.
PROS:
🔥 The whole ass book 2: Electric Bugaloo
🗡️ World building
🔥 Characters
🗡️ Politics
🔥 Intricate battle plots
🗡️ Found Family
🔥 The Gods VS the Divine Architect
CONS:
🗡️ For me? Still none. The heroes are perfectly morally grey. The villains are also (mostly) the perfect shade of morally grey. It makes it debatable who is the true hero and who is the true villain.
🔥 For some people? The descriptions of what the invading army did to the people are very graphic and very disturbing. It never gets easier to digest.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 out of five heroes that might be villains but they think they are heroes but they are villains to somebody
