Ever the Brave by Erin Summerill

3.0

This book was an improvement on the first. The plot was more complex, and though I usually don't like the switching of perspectives from which a story is told when that is not how the first was written, I enjoyed reading Cohen's and Aodren's perspectives as well. The various events happening to the three characters lined up well. There was more intrigue and character depth. I did find it kind of strange that the main villain was supposed to be a continuation from the first book, and yet she just kind of randomly appears in this book with barely an introduction in the first.
