This is by far my favorite Adriana Herrera book. I love everything about it. Let me break down why I love this book.

✨ First Alba is a go-getter and I know the difficulty of being the person who feels like she has to pick up the pieces of her family, and has ambitions, and has compartments for every thing in her life. Last year when I read On the Hustle I did not appreciate Alba as much as I did this time around. I get her, I see her and I love all of her.

✨ You know what I am here to say 👀 THEO freaking GANAS, as soon as he gets on page he is already swoony AF. I love that this didn’t turn into billionaire gets with assistant. Even though he came across as grumpy, stoic and uninterested. Emmmmm wrong, he was more than interested in Alba 👀 The way that man shows up to show how much he loves Alba. OBSESSED. Simp of the century.

What are his qualities? Supportive, observant, loving, helpful, persistent, curious about her work and her ambitious, and willing to be her peace. He cooks too, so you know how much I love Theo. He is alsooo F.I.L.T.H.Y 😏 and the way he is obsessed with Alba’s 🍑 😂🤣 of course he annoying qualities that I found endearing, when he calls her like 100 different middle names that were not hers which would inevitably ruffle Alba’s feathers 😂

Now every time I listen to Safaera by Bad Bunny ft. Jowel & Randy I think of Theo😂 so you can say that On The Hustle is my Roman Empire and I think about it all the time🫡

Read if you enjoy and are ok with:
