It took me roughly 6 times to try and read this book. But on the final time, it clicked for me. I understand why this is considered a classic. The writing is fantastic, the world building is amazing, and the characters are written in depth. However, I found it difficult to follow sometimes because there is no clear good guy or bad guy. There’s no one to clearly root for. Which isn’t a bad thing, there are better characters than others, but they’re all just people and you learn about their lives going through a game of gods. It’s really a great book and I plan on continuing the series after a short break.
