The Saturday Big Tent Wedding Party
by Alexander McCall Smith
These books are comfort reading. I wouldn't sit and read them back to back because I think they could get a bit same-y in their simplicity, but one or two a year when you're needing that hot cup of tea feeling works just fine. This one continues with the seemingly simple reflections on life and human behaviour by the wonderful Precious Ramotswe, who is investigating a case of some mutilated cattle out in the countryside. Meanwhile Grace Makutsi is getting ready for her big wedding, and having her usual troubles and conversations with shoes.
