As with all anthologies, a mixed bag here.

I really liked Victoria Schwab's story "First Kill" and if I hadn't already been familiar with her, I would have definitely checked out her other books based on this.

"Senior Year Sucks" by Julie Murphy was also quite good. You can tell I like the slayer-sided stories.

The only one I dnf'd was "A Guidebook for the Newly Sired Desi Vampire". I'm sure I would have enjoyed it if I had the cultural background knowledge so that one's a personal thing.

All of the others were in between... interesting and well-written but not a stand-out in my opinion. Still worth reading though. I thought the little 'talking points' after each story were interesting additions as well.

I've loved vampires since forever... probably Christopher Pike's The Last Vampire series was my first foray and then of course Anne Rice. I was 10 or 11. The obsession is real.
