The story of Shakes, Butters, John and Michael is engaging and heartbreaking. It is written beautifully and with a layer of humour that is both surprising and welcome between the most horrific events depicted. I was smiling and crying all the way through. Lorenzo Carcaterra and the rest of the sleepers have my utmost respect and love for what they went through.
