Maurice by E.M. Forster, E.M. Forster

I was really excited to finally read this book, but it wasn't what I expected it to be.
It was worth reading it, because it's a classic + it treats gay characters and relationships better than anything written by almost all straight ladies past 2010 and is mistakenly shelved in LGBTQ instead of M/M.
However, the relationships didn't really pull me in as much. I attribute this partly to the writing style and partly to the fact that those relationships did not seem to be entirely well-written (refer to other 3 star reviews, which analyze this point better).
