The Last Goodbye by Fiona Lucas
3.0

I was slow to warm up to this book. The author’s writing style felt like a lot of tell, and only a little show, which didn’t sit well with me. That said, I stuck with it, and definitely felt for the characters. It was easy to root for Anna as she came to terms with her grief. With Anna, Brody, and even Anna’s mother-in-law, the author did a good job of talking about how moving on is sometimes uneven and messy, and everyone has their own way of coping.
