None of This Is True by Lisa Jewell

5.0

This is my first Lisa Jewel and it won’t be the last. My god, what a wild ride she’s created.
🕯️ mystery/thriller with age gap dynamics
📝 unreliable narrators
🎤 podcast element with beautiful audio
🖤 fast paced and left my stomach twisted
☕️ huge sense of unease throughout
🎮 binge-worthy

I highly recommend going in blind. The podcast aspect is what drew me in and I highly recommend the audiobook. I listened to it on Scribd.

It should’ve been obvious by the title (None of This is True), but I was second guessing everything. I had no clue what’s going on most of the time.

I usually don’t like domestic thrillers, but this one is so different from anything I’ve ever read. I don’t want to give too much away, but read this.

(PS: it’s set in summer if that helps anyone plan things, but it’s not super summer vibey.)
