3 stars - this was good but dragged a lot at certain portions. Everything wraps up neatly at the end but I just was fatigued by that point. It's not bad but I felt like, even though so much of the story was important to the case, too much time was spent with things I don't care about. I listened on audio and the narrator's voice was so steady that I thought he was AI at first. But he does good impressions of the characters. If you like Higashino's other work, you will probably enjoy this.
