I don't really know what I was expecting with this being my first Sally Rooney novel, but it's safe to say I'm a little disappointed. Especially disappointing if all of her novels are like this (which people say online I guess? But I'll see for myself). I didn't love the characters, and didn't care much for the plot, but I like the vibe I think? I like that it was all fairly regular life stuff, just normal people (???) doing fairly normal things. I like stories about normal, but this one didn't really connect bar a few great lines.
